From Jan 15–17th, Together For Nepal (TFN) organized a three-day “Create Your Future” Leadership Training, bringing together a diverse group of participants and international expertise under one platform. The program aimed to empower individuals with clarity, self-awareness, leadership skills, and the confidence needed to take charge of their personal and professional journeys.
The training was participated by 37 participants representing a wide range of sectors, including non-governmental organizations, healthcare institutions, technical institutes, banking and financial services, the disability sector, and distinguished former civil servants. This diversity enriched discussions and peer learning, creating a dynamic environment where participants could exchange perspectives across professions and experiences.
Adding to its significance, the program carried a strong international dimension, with expert facilitation and global perspectives that broadened participants’ understanding of leadership beyond local contexts. The training focused on the idea that leadership begins from within—emphasizing personal responsibility, mindset, initiative, and the courage to act, even in the absence of power, money, or formal authority.
The sessions were led by Mr. David Thirumur, an international trainer, whose facilitation was widely appreciated by participants. His approach combined clarity, engagement, and practical insights, encouraging active participation and reflection throughout the three days. Through interactive discussions, exercises, and real-life examples, participants were guided to better understand their strengths, values, and potential roles as change makers within their respective fields.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives from TFN highlighted that the training was designed not merely as a short-term capacity-building program, but as a foundation for long-term personal growth and responsible leadership. The presence of participants from varied professional backgrounds, was seen as a strong indicator of the program’s relevance across sectors.
Participants shared positive feedback, noting that the training helped them gain clarity on life goals, improve decision-making skills, and develop a renewed sense of purpose. Many emphasized the value of learning in a mixed group setting, where experiences from public service, civil society, finance, healthcare, and social inclusion intersected meaningfully.
With the successful completion of the “Create Your Future” Leadership Training, TFN reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing conscious, capable, and socially responsible leaders. The organization expressed gratitude to all participants, partners, and facilitators who contributed to making the international training program impactful and memorable.
